Since our first tournament in 2001, the club has made significant donations to local charities from the proceeds of the annual tournament. In 2007 an extra donation was made through our participation in the Mattel promoted Breast Cancer Awareness event. In 2012, the Club held a Tea Dance as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations with proceeds being donated to charity. In 2013, an open garden at the home of the founders was held. In 2015, in conjunction with Silver Surfers and Tai Chi, we held a further Tea Dance. At our Christmas evenings, we have a collection for a charity which is voted on by the membership of the Club
